Signs a flap needs replacing
Chewed. A dog chews the flap, leaving teeth marks, torn edges or a flap that no longer closes properly.
Cracked or broken plastic. The flap plastic cracks or breaks, whether from age, sun or a hard knock.
Warped or not sealing. The flap warps or stops sealing, letting heat and dust in around the edges.
Worn after 2–3 years. The flap is simply 2–3 years old and worn — stiff, loose or no longer swinging freely.
