Why Your Existing Glass Can Never Be Cut On Site
Tempered (toughened) glass is heat-treated in a furnace so the whole pane holds balanced internal stress — that is what makes it safe and strong. The moment a hole is cut or drilled after tempering, that stress releases and the entire pane shatters into thousands of pieces. Any installer who offers to “cut your existing glass door” is offering to destroy it. The hole must be cut before tempering, in the factory — which is exactly how we work.

Your landlord’s original pane comes out whole and is stored safely. Nothing about your door is permanently changed. When you move out, we swap the original glass back in about 30 minutes and the door is returned to its exact original condition — protecting 100% of your security deposit and removing any need for a landlord NOC.

This method suits single openable glass doors, fixed floor-to-ceiling villa panels and building glass. In many villas, fitting the flap into a smaller fixed side panel is smarter than replacing a huge sliding leaf — lighter, neater, and just as effective for your pet.

Flap choices. Manual and microchip flaps can be factory-fitted into the new unit. Microchip options from SureFlap and PetSafe read your cat’s existing veterinary microchip; Closer Pets manual 4-way locking flaps are available for owners who prefer a simple mechanical flap. Glass mounting adapters create the circular seal the flap needs in glass.
Sizing. Dogs: Medium 23×35 cm (Bulldog, Shih Tzu, Poodle), Large 28×45 cm (Beagle, Pointer), X-Large 36×65 cm (Labrador, Golden Retriever, Husky, Great Dane). Cats over 4 kg need a Large flap — British Shorthairs, Maine Coons and Ragdolls included.
Reflective glass — the honest position. Many UAE villas use reflective or tinted architectural glass. We offer the closest matching options available, but an exact shade match cannot be guaranteed: Emaar, Aldar, Damac, Nakheel and other developers sourced coatings from different suppliers and project batches, so two “identical” reflective panes can differ slightly. We show you the closest match before fabrication and proceed only with your approval.
Deposit protection. Because the original glass is stored uncut and refitted at move-out, the door passes handover inspection in its original state.
