Standard cat flaps are sized for small European cats. Popular UAE breeds — British Shorthairs, Maine Coons, Ragdolls and adult Arabian Maus — regularly exceed 4 kg, and a cat that has to squeeze will eventually refuse the flap, scratch at the door instead, or get stressed every time it passes. We weigh and measure honestly and fit Large flaps to any cat over 4 kg, across both microchip and manual models.

Glass doors and panels get a factory-made tempered replacement unit (your original glass is stored, never cut). Sliding doors can take a same-day track insert. Wooden and UPVC doors are precision-cut and sealed, and masonry walls take weather-sealed tunnels. One installer, every surface in your home.
Microchip or Manual — Fitted Correctly
Microchip flaps from SureFlap and PetSafe read your cat’s existing veterinary microchip and lock out every other animal. Manual 4-way locking flaps from Closer Pets and PetSafe give you in-only, out-only, both-ways or fully locked control. We are authorised installers for all three brands and fit the flap that fits your situation — not the one with the best margin.

A poorly fitted flap is a hole in your air conditioning. Our fittings are sealed properly at the frame and the flap itself uses magnetic closure, so the flap shuts fully after every pass and your cooled air stays inside through the summer.

Options & Sizing
The sizing rule. Cats up to 4 kg: standard flap. Cats over 4 kg: Large flap — this includes most British Shorthairs, Maine Coons, Ragdolls and larger Arabian Maus. If your cat is between sizes or still growing, we will tell you to size up.
Microchip (SureFlap, PetSafe). Reads your cat’s existing UAE veterinary microchip — no collar or tag needed. Selective entry keeps strays and neighbours’ cats out. DualScan and connected variants are covered on our microchip page.
Manual 4-way lock (Closer Pets, PetSafe). In-only, out-only, open both ways, or locked shut. The right choice for interior doors, laundry rooms and owners who want simple mechanical control. Closer Pets is supplied for manual 4-way locking models only.
Where it can go. Glass doors and fixed panels (replacement unit method), sliding doors (insert or replacement unit), wooden and UPVC doors, and walls via sealed tunnels.
Yes. British Shorthairs, Maine Coons, Ragdolls and many Arabian Maus exceed 4 kg, and a standard flap forces them to squeeze — the most common reason cats refuse a flap entirely. A Large flap costs the cat nothing in security and removes the problem completely.
Yes, but never by cutting the existing glass — tempered glass shatters if cut after manufacture. We fabricate a new tempered unit with the flap opening made in the factory, fit it, and store your original glass for swap-back when you move out.
No. Our glass method stores the original pane uncut and restores it in about 30 minutes at move-out, and sliding inserts sit in the existing track without drilling. Nothing permanent is changed, so no landlord NOC is required.
We offer the closest matching reflective options available, but an exact shade cannot be guaranteed because original suppliers and coating batches differ between developments. We show you the closest match before anything is fabricated.
If stray or neighbourhood cats are entering your home, microchip is the answer: only your cat's chip opens it. If the flap is for an interior door or you simply want curfew control, a manual 4-way lock from Closer Pets or PetSafe does the job at lower cost.
The fitting itself takes about 45 minutes. Sliding inserts in the standard white frame can be same-day when booked before 10 AM; glass replacement units are fabricated to order after measurement.
